Hi Harilanto . Thank you for receiving us. So, why did you choose to add music on your website?
Well, it has been more than 3 years now that we promote malagasy artists who come to perform in North America and adding music content on our site is just an extension of our promotional work.
You choose not only malagasy but also french, anglo-saxon and american music
Yeah! The diaspora here and americans who have an eager love for Madagascar do not really have access to malagasy music everyday due to their loaded work or they just don't have time to surf the net to find "that" specific song they want. So AVE! job is to select and channel those songs. Thanks to YouTube to lighten our work but we hope that in the future malagasy artists will post directly their works to our website. Although the website is dedicated to malagasy artists, we just don't want to limit the entertainment to only our territory, we want to extend the scope of our activities to all venues so we add some french, anglo-saxon and american music, the process is still the same, focused on memories "souvenirs" or on the latest hit on the market.
Who choose the music?
I am the one who choose the music but in the future I want the internauts to participate by posting their comments on the video they want to keep online because some adding will be done every month and those with least comments will be deleted. You can also make a request in hope that we can find and provide the requested videos. This process is also to see if malagasy people are really interested on promoting their artists and if they are interested on listening other kind of musics. I want also to emphasize here that AVE! doesn't make any money on publishing those videos.
