Hi Rami ! How did you end up being a muse and co-host at Noah G Pop's opening party?
Noah G Pop and I met through a mutual friend who modeled for him. He saw me and invited me to model
for him. I was rather flattered being that I'm not a professional model but he was interested in capturing
exotic subjects which he thought he saw in me. I was rather flattered and honored. I really loved his work
and thought it was fresh, colorful and innovative. As a result, we developed a great rapport and I am now
collaborating with him to increase his visibility in the art world. The party was designed to expose his
name and to celebrate the opening of the International ArtExpo in New York City. We worked with a very
famous promoter to conceive this exclusive event so in turn, we were all hosts on that special evening.
Your impression of the event ?
It was a surprising and smashing success. We all had our guest lists and worked exceptionally hard to
promote this event. It paid off immensely! Close to 400 people showed up that evening ! It was a very
eclectic and interesting crowd ranging from friends and family, to artists and dealers, to yuppies,
socialites, diplomats, models and even unexpected celebrities such as the Naked Cowboy, rapper Rob
Base and noted artist Fabien Perez. It turned out to be one of the best nights of the artist's life and mine
too! We were both very humbled and proud!
What has this event brought to you?
It has brought new meaning and inspiration to my life. Arts and business have always been an integral
part of my life. And now that I am assisting an artist, I can combine the best of both worlds. Noah G.
loves people, beauty and the arts. I hope that, with lots of vision, creativity and hard work, we can both
share his passion to the world.
Do you intend to follow your career in the art world ?
I envision myself more as an ambassador for the arts. And I can do so by promoting the artist and also just being in the art world which I just adore. It allows me to capitalize on both my artistic and business acumen. What more can I ask for?

"I love beautiful and exotic women. It is where my eye and artistic sensibilities are drawn naturally"
Hi Noah. Thanks you for receiving us ! Could you please define the art that you beautifully call "POPography?"
I have always been a fan of pop art; Warhol in particular. Popography is a term that I use to describe
my stylistic use of digital photography as a springboard for my creation of pop art.
What is your main technique?
All of my work begins with a photo shoot. During the shoot, I use many combinations of filters and lighting effects to transform my images and compositions. This is the first transformation of the image before it even sees a computer. After that, all of my images are downloaded onto the computer (PC) where I can use up to 10 different image editing programs that I can use to digitally paint, draw, cut, paste and combine images to create my final visual compositions. Then my work is printed on canvas using a large-format inkjet printer and sometimes, as a final variation, I may individually hand-embellish the work with acrylic paint to further ensure the uniqueness of each piece.
What if mistakes happened?
I don't think there are any true mistakes in art; especially as it relates to my own work. When working on an image, I try not to plan too far ahead. My goal is always to create the best photographic images possible and after that, I just sort of let the art go where it wants to. Most often it is these so-called "mistakes" that make the art most interesting because they take you off in a direction that you might not have otherwise gone.
So what kind of colors do you like to use?
I'm pretty sure that one time or another, I've used every color of the spectrum; often in the same work of art. Obviously, I love bright striking colors and I try to combine as many colors as possible in and very often in combinations that people wouldn't immediately think of but I try somehow to create a fusion that still works in a fantastic way.
You're painting mostly exotic women, any reason?
I love beautiful and exotic women. It is where my eye and artistic sensibilities are drawn naturally. While I have done pictures of buildings, flowers, etcetera, I am really a people person. I also think that my art is very intimate and my process is a very intimate experience for both artist and subject. By the time I finish a piece; after I have spent hours and hours staring at someone's face, it can feel as if we have known each other forever. I can never understand why they don't get my jokes. I kid. My goal is to capture the true essence of my subject and that too takes a lot of trust both on both our parts.
As a physical therapist, have you ever considered painting individual body parts?
I think whoever said that the eyes are the window to the soul really knew what they were talking about and to me, this is much more interesting than let's say an arm or a leg or even the heart.
Could you please tell us more about the piece Zelda?
Noah G Pop and Zelda Kaplan, one of the most famous woman in New York
This is a very special piece to me. Zelda Kaplan is an iconic figure on the New York City social scene but most importantly, she has been a lifelong human rights activist and philanthropist. She is truly the city's matriarchal queen of the nightlife often seen partying until the wee hours of the morning at some of the most exclusive NYC hotspots. Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention that she is 92 years old and a people person in the truest sense of the word. As an activist on issues like women's rights, AIDS, education and research, poverty in Africa, and many other causes, Zelda tries to help as many people as she can through her outreach efforts. She is truly one of the rarest of gems that we have in the world.
What will be your biggest next thing?
I would like to be able to help Zelda raise money for another trip to Africa so that she can further her efforts. I am also working with a great choreographer named Sheila Kaminsky and musician/composer Tony Orrigo on a modern dance interpretation of my art using all original music and costumes.
Are those sunglasses your signature?
Yes. Blue is my favorite color. To me, everything looks better through blue-colored glasses and this week in honor of Artexpo NY, I finally took the plunge with my hair.
Do you do any custom commissions?
I do. I have done many commissions including men, women, children and pets. I've also done family portraits and wedding pictures in my signature artistic style. I love challenges and so if someone is a fan of my work, I always look forward to the honor and the challenge of creating a fantatsic piece of art for them to cherish. Also, as a digital artist and photographer, I have a great deal of flexibility in creating art for my collectors.
